2. Android saves the MP4 to your Downloads folder.

“No video found” or the preview shows only an image

The pin is probably an image pin, or a carousel with no video pages. Open it in Pinterest and check whether it actually plays. Some pins look animated in the feed because of a cover animation but only contain a still image.

The link is invalid or not recognized

Make sure you copied the pin link and not a board, profile, or search page. Also check for extra text: when you share from some apps, the clipboard includes a message like “Check out this pin” before the link. Delete everything except the address that starts with https.

The pin.it link does not resolve

Short links can expire or break if the pin was removed. Open the pin.it link in your browser first. If Pinterest shows an error or a “pin not found” page, the video is gone and cannot be downloaded. If it opens correctly, copy the full pinterest.com address from the address bar and try that instead.

The pin is private or the board is secret

Pins on secret boards and group boards that are not public are only visible to invited members. SaveToVideo only works with public content, so these pins cannot be downloaded. This is intentional and protects the privacy of people who chose not to share publicly.

The video downloads without sound
