Links you submit

When you paste a video link, we send that link to our server and, where needed, to a third-party processing service (API provider) to find the downloadable file. We do not require you to create an account and we do not ask for your name to use the tools. Results may be cached for a short time (usually up to one hour) to make repeated requests faster.

Log and technical data

Like most websites, our hosting server automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of the visit. We use this for security, abuse prevention (for example, limiting the number of requests per visitor) and to keep the service running. Rate-limit records are temporary and expire automatically.

Contact form

If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you provide, and we use them only to reply to you.

Download history (stored on your device)

Our Download History feature saves the title, platform, original link and a small preview image of videos you download in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device; it is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time from the Download History page or by clearing your browser data.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, measure traffic and show advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work correctly if you do.

3. Advertising

We display ads to keep SaveToVideo free. Advertising partners may include Google AdSense and other networks such as Adsterra.
